Space Coast Field of Dreams is a non-profit sports complex for community members with special needs. Pat Bentley worked to bring a $250,000 donation from L3Harris Corporation.
Stand Down is a non-profit organization that provides support for homeless veterans. Pat Bentley participated in providing food and other necessities with the Marine Corps League of Brevard County.
In 2011, Pat Bentley served with Harris Corporation on a volunteer project. The team worked on a playground for children of women in a local safe house.
Habitat for Humanity is a tremendous program that requires the eventual homeowner to share in the construction effort. Pat Bentley has worked on several of these projects sponsored by Harris Corporation. What a great program!
Hacienda Girls Ranch
Harris Corporation supports Hacienda Girls Ranch once each year by performing construction projects and grounds maintenance. Pat supported this workday on numerous occasions. It is a very worthwhile project as you can see the evidence of your labor in just a day or two.
Salvation Army (hurricane aftermath)
Pat Bentley was fortunate to not have any damage to my residence during the hurricanes that devasted some areas of our community. He, along with other council members, delivered meals and supplies immediately after the storms.
